It's impossible to walk out of a Michael Kors show without a smile on your face, humming the music from the runway, and plotting how you can make an escape to Aspen/Gstaad/St.Barths in his clothes. Oh, and let's not forget dreaming of looking as gorgeous as his front-row attendees, which for Fall 2014, included a glowing Blake Lively, Freida Pinto, and Rose Byrne. This Fall is all about where Big Sur meets the big city, which translates to lush browns, charcoals, and sables in lush textures like alpaca, tweed, and, of course, plenty of fur.
And while the debate rages on in the industry about the minimum age of models, Kors brought out a parade of classic beauties including Carolyn Murphy, Frankie Ryder, Karen Elson, and Jacquetta Wheeler, who all looked beautiful and utterly relaxed on the runway. It might not have been the trendiest collection of the week, but isn't that what's so wonderful about it? It's Michael Kors doing what he does best and what his ladies love him for.
