Whitney Port's Wedding Gown Is Just What You'd Expect — Until You See the Bottom

After Whitney Port teased us with an Instagram snap the whole Internet seemed to think was from her wedding, she showed off a stunning boho dress at her bridal party. So — with all the buildup to her big day — you can only imagine how excited we were to get a glimpse at her gown. In short (and long!), it's not what we'd expected.

Whitney brought back the asymmetrical hemline in her pearl-adorned lace Ashi Studio design, a trend we haven't seen in quite a while. But on Whitney, the look is absolutely elegant. The star, who was styled by Lara Backmender, added as many feminine details as she possibly could, from her intricate floral heels to her stunning drop earrings by Delfina Delettrez. And just like Whitney's waterfall train surprised us, so did her edgy diamond cartilage hoop and her simple chignon hairstyle, which allowed her feminine design to take center stage.

Read on to see Whitney's wedding style in full, from the engagement ring her new husband, Tim Rosenman, gave her to her stylish Instagram fakeout and, finally, the jaw-dropping dress she wore down the aisle and the party dress she picked for the reception.

Whitney shared a sneak peek of her bridal party look on Instagram, writing, "Mrs. Rosenman" — and that's what her necklace says! The dainty gold Lola James chain was provided by The Invisible Bridesmaid, a bridal concierge company. While everyone originally thought this snap was from Whitney's wedding to Tim Rosenman, the star later revealed the truth and shared her full outfit!

For her bridal party, Whitney opted for an off-the-shoulder eyelet Asilio dress and Sophia Webster pumps, which had "Wifey For Lifey" written on the soles.

“I just wanted something fun and cute and lacy and white,” she added. “I felt like it was the right kind of thing to wear to a bridal shower," Whitney told People.

Us Magazine reports that Whitney's Ashi Studio design was inspired by "a vintage chandelier from Venice and Florence." The subtle silver shine you see is thanks to a beading technique called "zardozi."

She finished the look with a pair of floral-appliqued Paul Andrew heels.

For the reception, Whitney switched into a fringed minidress and added a chic white cape.
