While unisex pieces aren't exactly new, the attention to ungendered clothing from the mainstream fashion industry is certainly more uncharted territory. Recently we've seen runways showcase designs for men and women, all on the same catwalk, and some retailers like American Apparel have always featured unisex clothing, but Zara's newly "ungendered" section is a first for the fast-fashion favorite and may just be a hint of the changes we can expect to see industry-wide. We hope so, because, really, if you like the look and fit of a garment, who cares who it was meant for or what department you found it in? We expect men and women will both appreciate the easy separates that fall into this new category. Just take a look and start shopping.
