In Beautiful News, Brandon Maxwell Is Gifting Wedding Dresses to Brides in Need

Brandon Maxwell is here to brighten up the day with yet another good deed. While the world deals with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Maxwell has not only pledged to use his skills and resources to create much-needed supplies for healthcare workers, like face masks and gowns, but he's also come up with a plan to help brides in need. With the economic repercussions caused by the global pandemic and as large events like weddings have been canceled or postponed, the designer had a special announcement for brides-to-be.

He posted a video on Instagram explaining that he will be giving away three wedding dresses to brides in need at this time. "As a company who has been fortunate to play a small part in so many women's special days, we realize the current crisis and the economic repercussions from it may have already deeply affected you. In times of darkness, we must look to the light, and we believe an optimistic moment to look forward to is important. As a result, we're gifting 3 wedding dresses to brides in need. Our friends @gigiburris & @evafehren have also kindly joined us to donate veils and wedding bands," he wrote in the caption.

Maxwell asked brides to email their stories and wedding details to yourspecialday@brandonvmaxwell.com by March 30. The three designers will then review the stories and be in touch with the three recipients on April 1.
