Wedding Dresses Were Once Far From Behati Prinsloo's Mind
The honeymoon's over, and now it's back to business for new bride Behati Prinsloo. And that's just fine with us, if the task at hand is modeling a retro '70s lineup inspired by rock gods like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin for the latest issue of The Edit.
Photographed by Chris Colls, high above the New York skyline, the model was miles away from the Los Cabos setting of her July 19 wedding to Adam Levine (though she does wear white in one shot, be it a mod Chloé shift). Still, she's even further away from the "tomboy" childhood she describes: "My mom recently sent me pictures from when I was a kid — in every one where I'm wearing a dress, I look so cross. But, of course, I had to wear dresses for church." We're guessing there was no forcing Behati into these chic Proenza Schouler and Donna Karan dresses, nor any of the pants, blouses, and sweaters, for that matter.Source: Net-a-Porter.com
