Quirky Is the New Cool For Coach Spring 2015
The Coach Spring 2015 collection isn't for the "classic" American beauty; this time around Stuart Vevers is crafting for the outsiders and the misfits. Drawn from a look at American subcultures, it's a lineup that celebrates the quirky girl, taking shape in animal prints, flatforms, fuzzy, colored coats, and bold, rainbow-hued miniskirts.
It's the stuff we imagine Tavi Gevinson has hanging in her closet, a riff on the '60s with bits of '90s and '70s flair — think leopard prints, chokers, and flared trousers. It may take the sophisticated or even the average Coach customer a little outside of her comfort zone, but we suspect the nostalgia, the fun of it, and even more so, the wearability, could inspire even the more buttoned-up dresser to ditch her heels in favor of these chunky slides and slip into one of the girlie floral shift dresses, too.
