These Style Bloggers Will Give You a Great Reason to Go Shopping

ShopStyle and over 70 style bloggers are thrilled to partner up this holiday season to give back to Dress For Success, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to build economic independence in the workplace. Bloggers will be donating 10 percent of all blog sales from Dec. 8 and Dec. 9 to Dress For Success — and in support of this great cause, ShopStyle will match each dollar.

In a season where consumerism rules, it's so refreshing to see these style influencers be part of a bigger message. Check out the bloggers we've highlighted below as they share what empowerment means to them, then, to take part in the cause, shop any item from the full list of blogs participating here. This is one purchase you won't regret.

"When I think of women who empower me, I instantly think of my mom and three sisters, Rachel, Megan and Amy. They’re always there for when I need a little boost or some advice and I consider them my best friends! And when it comes to clothes and dressing with confidence, I’m always drawn to the color red because it instantly brightens up any look!"

"I’ve found that confidence is acquired through a combination of metrics. First, confidence is usually commensurate to age. We gain confidence with experience and so the invaluable wisdom that comes with growing older and more experienced contributes to one’s confidence. Second, confidence is something attained through relationships we have with others. When we feel gratitude for our loved ones and when we feel supported, we feel empowered and therefore confident. And finally, confidence comes through looking and feeling your best."

"I’ve always been inspired by my mother, Mindy Kaling, Joan Rivers and Diane von Furstenberg. They are all strong, hilarious, self-made women who always stayed true to themselves."

"My style was empowered at a young age by my very chic mother, and my younger sister who was obsessed with the Spice Girls and Clueless — hence me being obsessed with said pop culture characters. While I definitely had a variety of style inspiration I think I really came into my own in my later years of college, refining my taste, and truly finding my style."

"For me, I feel the most confident with my hair pulled back in an all black outfit. Simple. There is something about the monochromatic palette that makes me feel ready to take on the next challenge."

"One power item in my closet that I reach for when I want to feel my very best is this zipper pencil skirt. I love that it has a work-friendly silhouette, but also packs a punch of edge with the zipper. This cheery floral top adds a fun feminine contrast to the skirt."

"A power outfit isn't about wearing a black or navy suit; my power outfit is about being 100% unapologetically myself. As a young child I was encouraged by my grandmother to explore style options, and to not be a conformist. That piece of advice is ever-present in my world... and wardrobe."

"For me, confidence is about being comfortable. Being comfortable in your own skin as well as your attire, and for me that’s in denim. While I wouldn’t show up to a job interview in jeans it is what I feel most confident in, hence one reason why you see me sporting it so much."

"When it comes to my style, I find confidence in being able to have fun and make it personal. I try to always stay true to myself which makes me feel the most comfortable and confident. My power suit is not really an outfit, it’s an attitude — a conscious decision to take on the day with confidence."

"Feeling confident is something I strive for every day, and I can’t think of anyone who has helped me feel more empowered and confident than my husband, Jordan. He’s been a constant cheerleader in my life (past 11 years), and someone whose pushed me, encouraged me, and made me into the woman I am now. Being around him makes me feel like I can accomplish anything I want – which is an amazing feeling."
