There are seemingly few professional spaces still left untouched by Rachel Zoe. The celebrity wardrobe stylist turned designer, TV personality, and mogul has enjoyed an expansive career working at the highest levels of fashion. Her lengthy résumé includes styling clients like Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lawrence, and Anne Hathaway (among many others), acting as the star of her own Bravo reality TV series, serving as the editor of the newsletter turned full-fledged lifestyle brand in The Zoe Report, and expanding on a bevy of other professional accomplishments so damn impressive and wide-ranging, we frankly can't even condense them to fit within our word count limit.

But now, more so than ever before, Zoe is focused on reshaping the innermost structure of the fashion industry — which involves understanding not only what makes the business tick, but also what areas of it still need to change. One of her latest endeavors is a venture into sustainability, with Zoe taking on a role as an investor and style adviser for Oscar Massin — the French heritage jewelry house that recently underwent a full rebrand and emerged with a more refined focus on sustainability and the use of lab-grown diamonds.

"I think the idea and what excited me the most about becoming a part of Oscar Massin was that I love the history of the brand — I love that it was a brand worn by royalty, I love that it's something Anna Wintour wears to the Met Ball, and I love the idea of bringing Oscar Massin back to the forefront with sustainability and design," says Zoe.

We had the opportunity to connect exclusively with Zoe about her work with Oscar Massin, the products she can't live without, how she built an authentic brand from the ground up (and in her go-to Valentino double-platform heels, no less), and why she's so excited about her new podcast — quite aptly titled, "Climbing in Heels with Rachel Zoe," because, obviously.

Her Affordable Must Have: Alo Yoga Faux Fur Foxy Jacket

Living on the West Coast, Zoe admits that having a breezy, everyday jacket like this Alo Yoga Faux Fur Foxy Jacket ($208, originally $298) is an essential for navigating California's ever-fluctuating temperatures. "I actually use the faux-fur and sherpa coat from Alo as just part of my everyday go-to, because in LA, it gets cold at night. So, a lot of times, I'll just keep them on-hand to just throw on as soon as it gets cooler." She also appreciates that the jacket isn't "precious," explaining: "You can kind of throw it around. It's super comfortable; it almost feels like a sweatshirt that happens to be extra warm and cozy."

Pro-Tip: In terms of styling, Zoe finds this Alo piece to be incredibly versatile, saying you can throw the casual style "on with jeans," or wear it as a dressy overcoat, too. "I have so many friends that wear them [the jacket] with their workout clothes."

Her Investment Must Have: Oscar Massin Beaded Necklace

Zoe says that because of how subtle the design of the chain on this Oscar Massin Beaded Necklace ($3,200) is, the accessory is an especially great piece for layering. "I like layering it with other pieces. I can wear a big, chunky, vintage necklace with it, or I can wear other fine jewelry pieces with it because it's invisible enough and prominent enough to look like it's part of you and wear every day. I think that's mostly what people are typically looking for is those everyday pieces."

Pro-Tip: While both of these pieces have gold accents incorporated into them, Zoe claims that her metal preferences can often change depending on the occasion or formality of an event. "I'm 90 percent yellow-gold-based, but I do love white gold with engagement rings. I love white gold . . . You know what it is? When I'm doing something more traditional or more formal, I tend to wear white gold more."

Her Morning Routine Must Have: Dr. Barbara Sturm Mini Super Anti-Aging Serum

One of the most essential parts of Zoe's morning is following her skin-care routine — which includes, along with a bevy of other great products, this Dr. Barbara Sturm Mini Super Anti-Aging Serum ($130). "I love Barbara Sturm everything, but her antiaging serum I felt really helped change the texture of my skin. I have really dry skin, and I just felt like her hyaluronic serum, her antiaging serum, her night serum — they really were transformative in the texture of my skin."

Pro-Tip: Zoe admits to being a self-proclaimed "serum junkie," saying that she loves using everything from face oils to overnight creams and so many other go-to beauty products to help her skin stay feeling fresh. Outside of Dr. Barbara Sturm products, she also loves skin-care brands like Nurse Jackie, U Beauty, Shani Darden, and more.

Her Sleeping Must Have: Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Adult Robe

Rather unsurprisingly, even Zoe's bedtime wardrobe is incredibly chic, too! She relies on this Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Adult Robe ($100, originally $127) as a sleeping essential every night. "I always make this joke that I have no middle ground. I'm either really dressed up, or I'm in a bathrobe. And I collect bathrobes; I have so many favorites. I have great ones from SKIMS and Barefoot Dreams — my whole family has ones from Barefoot Dreams."

Pro-Tip: Oversize fashion is already everywhere these days, but Zoe believes the trend should extend to bathrobes and bedtime wear, too — even going so far as to recommend getting a bathrobe in a bigger size. ". . . when I come in from a big event, and I've been in crazy heels for 10 hours or just wearing something that may not be comfortable, I just love jumping right into an oversize robe. And I always get them big. You never want a robe to be fitted; you want it to be warm and kind of like a blanket with sleeves."

Her Sneaker Must Have: Adidas Superstar '80s Bape White Black Sneaker

While Zoe admits that she's not much of a sneaker girl (for the designer, it's all about the heels), she does believe that when it comes to choosing a great pair of sneakers, it's "all about versatility" — which is why she loves the vibe of this Adidas Superstar '80s Bape White Black Sneaker ($240), in particular. "It's funny — I find the things that I wear heels and ankle boots for, my friends throw on sneakers with. So anything from jeans and a cute sweater, or a great little minidress, where I would wear heels, they will throw on sneakers."

Pro-Tip: Despite the fact that she's not a "huge sneaker wearer," Zoe says that KYX is the retailer she swears by for shopping out unique or hard-to-find sneakers — so much so, that she's even become an investor for it. "It's almost like a Rent the Runway for sneaker addicts and collectors. It's so genius, and my husband uses it, my friends use it. It's really amazing — it's like you've got the sneakers you've always wanted or you couldn't find, and then when you've worn them for long enough, you can swap them out for something else amazing."
