I love all of these! But, probably the one I like the most is your strawberries and graham cracker idea! YUM!

@wyldstallyns: They're not supposed to be 'filling.' They're snacks. They're small portions of food that are relatively low in calories, used to help tide you over between meals. I don't even need to be hungry, but I still get the urge to snack. I know that I'd certainly rather eat a banana, some grapes, almonds and/or cereal over a chocolate bar, chips or a bland rice cake anyday. And maybe check out the brands she's suggesting: Kashi, Barbara's. These are both nutritionally concious labels. And yes, a cup of puffed organic wheat may also be nutritious. However, if I'm going to snack, it had better taste good. I think they are great suggestions that will definitely help me keep my calories in check. Thanks for the great ideas! :)

I am traveling almost every weekend for the next 3 months, following my daughters college volleyball team. I didn't want to spoil all of my hard work in the gym with convenient store/vending machine junk food. Grabbed me a cute car cooler and loaded it with awesome snack packs. Thanks for some additional ideas

None of these are filling, especially processed cereal and crackers...junk. Bananas don't keep you full either, I eat them less than 5 minutes before hard runs -_- Just eat an apple, (which you should weigh), or extremely high-volume foods.
