Apple Cider Vinegar Cayenne Pepper Cold Remedy


1/4 cup water
1/4 cup unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 wedge lemon


  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Combine hot water and apple cider vinegar in a small glass or mug.
  3. Add honey and cayenne pepper. Stir well. Top off with a squeeze of lemon.
  4. Take a deep breath of the mixture, and start drinking.

It actually isn't too bad. Unfortunately we somehow ran out of cayenne, so idk if it will help enough *crosses fingers* , I really despise summer colds ..!

Wow, I had to use 3/4 cup of water cause it was to tangy!! THE heat didn't bother me. I have been doing a sinus flush with cayenne. Have had a chronic sinus infection for like ever!! I will try anything to get rid of it!

It was too strong for me...just a few sips made me feel sick to me stomach. However, just breathing it in for a minute relieved my sinus headache.

Whoa. I did 3/4 cup of water instead of just 1/4 cup and it was still super hot, but after two sips my sinuses started opening up. Actually tastes pretty good aside from my mouth being on fire.

Oh my goodness! I have a cold and just tried this, I am not sure about my sinuses, but I have the hiccups like crazy! That's a lot of cayenne!
