We Did Not See This Huge News From Alton Brown Coming, but We Love It!

After Alton Brown teased an exciting announcement on a recent Facebook Live video, saying, "There's something coming, really big coming Thanksgiving, but I can't tell you what it is," he finally let fans in on the secret. Eat Your Science, the Food Network host's live show, is coming to Broadway! "I am pleased to announce that Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science will be playing — a very, very limited run — Thanksgiving week at the Barrymore Theater, literally one block away from where Hamilton is playing. So since you can't possibly get into Hamilton, come see me at the Barrymore where your chances are a lot better," he said in an Instagram video.

Coming from someone who has seen Alton's live show before, I can vouch and say that it is totally worth a trip — that is, if you're into food, comedy, live music (by Alton!), and entertaining science experiments. Plus, it appears as if Alton might be pulling out all the stops just for Broadway, because he's been sharing mysterious photos of himself with crazy hair and makeup, including a blue wig and a Lemony-Snicket-style prosthetic nose. It's not clear if these photos are related, though, because the only description Alton repeatedly gives is, "I don't want to talk about it." Keep reading to see Alton's announcement in full, followed by those hilarious and intriguing behind-the-scenes photos.
