The Scary Reason Kellogg's Recalled Famous Amos Cookies and More Snacks

The Kellogg Company has voluntarily recalled certain snack brands that may contain undeclared peanut residue. Among the varieties affected are Mother's, Keebler, Kellogg's Special K brownies, Murray, and Famous Amos cookies. The news comes after the company's supplier Grain Craft recalled wheat flour that has the potential to contain low levels of peanut residue. Although no illness reports have been received and the company says the amount of peanut exposure from the flour is low and not expected to cause major health effects, it's still best to toss out the products if you have an allergy. According to Kellogg, you can either discard the affected snack or contact the company for a full refund. Head over to the FDA website to see the full list of recalled items.
