Burger King recently released Mac n' Cheetos, and we scrambled for a bite. The Cheetos-coated, deep-fried mac and cheese sticks ($3 for five) certainly sounded awesome, and editors flocked for the taste test to determine once and for all if they lived up to our expectations. Turns out, they did and more.

In promo shots, the Mac n' Cheetos look like Cheetos Puffs, but in real life, they sort of look like jagged chicken tenders with burnt edges. They smell like Burger King, that iconic mix of fry oil and barbecue char. Luckily, they don't taste like they smell. The iconic Cheetos flavor comes through on the crispy crust, which paves the way to a slightly mushy mac and cheese that is heavy in the cheddar flavor. One stick of these will leave you feeling full (and maybe gross), so plan on sharing them with friends, preferably when inebriated.
