A Guy Has Eaten Chipotle For 100 Days Straight, and He's Not Stopping

You think you're dedicated to Chipotle because you go three times a week and order guac, too? You're nothing compared to this guy. Mark Rantal, 30, has eaten Chipotle for over 100 days straight, and he's not even done yet.

Talk. About.

"The whole thing was totally an accident. On Monday I decided to get Chipotle and on Tuesday I made the same decision, then got lunch with my friend there on Wednesday," Mark told ABC News. "We laughed about it at lunch and he asked how long I thought I could go. And that began the thought."

Do you have as many questions as I do? Of course you do, so here's a FAQ breakdown, gathered from Mark's Facebook and his Reddit AMA that happened on the 100th day of this sacred journey.

Q: Does he get something different every time?
A: Nope. He gets the exact same thing every single day: a burrito bowl with white rice, pinto beans, fajitas, sofritas, mild salsa, corn, medium salsa, cheese, and lettuce. "Then I shake the whole thing up, and eat it with a bag of chips and a cup of water."

Q: Hasn't he gained a lot of weight?
A: He has gained 14 pounds, he explained on his Facebook page. "I gained a wanted 14 pounds. I had lost that much in the 100 days prior and had to start eating more," he said.

Q: Is he not tired of it by now?
A: Surprisingly, no. "There were a few days where I really just looked at it, thinking, 'Really? Again?! Ugh.' But I'd say it was only about 5 times during the 101. I'm still going to keep the streak going for now (It's delightfully habitual, and I've built awesome friendships with the people who make my food)."

Q: Does he go to the same location every time?
A: No. Mark lives in Colorado Springs, CO, and he changes it up by going to various locations in the area, and he's also been to one in LA and Omaha, NE.

Q: How much has this cost him so far?
A: $700 and counting. "I've spent about $700 over the 100 days. It's definitely been worth it for me. It's simplified my diet and built some really fun relationships with the staff."

Q: Wait, is this entire stunt just a Chipotle marketing scheme?
A: According to Mark, no. When asked if he has a sponsorship, he replied, "Nah . . . at day 100, the staff gave me a $30 gift card. But I haven't tried contacting Chipotle, even though I'd LOVE to hang out with their marketing department."

You're probably digesting your feelings about this right now, and you're also probably craving Chipotle, so here's a quick game you can play to get a BOGO deal and a chance to win Chipotle for two for a year (if you dare).
