Which of the New Girl Scouts Cookie Flavors Is Worth Trying?

It's the best time of the year — Girl Scouts cookie season. Girls across the country are doling out boxes upon boxes of those addictive treats, including three new flavors. Toffee-tastic, Trios, and Rah-Rah Raisins will be available during selling season (now through April). What's even better? Toffee-tastic, a buttery cookie with toffee bits, and Trios, a peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie with whole grain oats, are gluten free. It will be the first time in almost a century of selling cookies that the GSUSA will be offering a gluten-free option nationally. Don't forget to try Rah-Rah Raisins too — an oatmeal raisin cookie with whole grain oats, raisins, and Greek-yogurt-flavored chunks. FYI, buying Girl Scout cookies is easier than ever this year with a new online system. However, there's one caveat. You'll need to be given access by a Girl Scout herself to become a "digital cookie customer." We snagged a few boxes of the new flavors to try them so you don't have to. Here's what we thought:

Rah-Rah Raisins

The Rah-Rah Raisins taste like a healthier Girl Scouts cookie with plenty of chewy raisins and a nice saltiness. Many enjoyed the spices and crunchy texture, but most decided these just don't compete with the originals like Thin Mints and shortbread cookies.

Toffee-Tastic

Tasters really loved the crunchy toffee bits in Toffee-Tastic; however, many could not get over the sandy texture of the gluten-free cookie. But for those who are abstaining from wheat and are nostalgic for the classic shortbreads, these cookies have a similar buttery flavor and are a fairly decent alternative.
