Soon you'll see pumpkin spice products stocked on shelves everywhere, so you're going to want to know what to pick up and what to pass on. Here, we've ranked Target's pumpkin spice offerings from worst to best, including hot cocoa, almonds, and corn tortilla chips. Stay tuned for more as we update our post with more of Target's pumpkin spice treats, like pancakes and pumpkin toffee cupcakes.

Pumpkin Spice Glazed Pepitas

Pumpkin Spice Glazed Pepitas

It's fitting for Target to offer pumpkin spice pepitas, actual pumpkin seeds, but these aren't worth a buy in our opinion. You can smell the overwhelmingly artificial scent as soon as you open the package, and the flavor doesn't help. Roasting your own pumpkin seeds would make for a much better snack.

Pumpkin Spice Almonds

Pumpkin Spice Almonds

Unlike Planters Pumpkin Spice Almonds, which have a light dusting of spices, Target's Pumpkin Spice Almonds are enclosed in a candy-like coating. Similar in texture to peanut M&M's, these almonds have a white chocolate shell that's flavored with vanilla, cinnamon, and other spices. Unsurprisingly, they're really sweet and are more like a dessert than anything else.

Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa

The best part of Target's Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa is the balance — it's not overwhelmingly pumpkin spicy. Subtle notes of pumpkin pie come through with each sip of the rich hot cocoa, and it makes us want to curl up with a book and a pumpkin spice candle. An added bonus is you can make this with almond milk instead of regular milk, and it's just as decadent.

Pumpkin Corn Tortilla Chips

Pumpkin Corn Tortilla Chips

Other than a slightly orange hue, Target's Pumpkin Corn Tortilla Chips don't taste much different than regular corn tortilla chips. That said, they're damn good chips that taste excellent on their own or with salsa and guacamole. The first ingredient is ground corn, and what gives them a Fall twist is dried pumpkin powder and just a trace of sugar.
