Brooklyn Decker is in pretty good spirits these days, and after an eventful few years, her newest partnership with Astral Tequila feels like the cherry on top of it all — or rather, the lime wedge on top of a margarita. The model and actor has enjoyed extensive success both on and off the big screen, starring in hit films like "Just Go With It" and "What to Expect When You're Expecting," while also nabbing roles on TV shows like Netflix's "Grace and Frankie." For her latest endeavor, Decker has stepped into an ambassador role for Astral Tequila's heritage spirits brand, where she hopes to shed more light on the label's ongoing sustainability program, the Adobe Brick Project.

"It's really exciting; I love their tequila, I love making a good cocktail with it. But I always love partnering with brands who are [also] sustainably minded and are doing good not just for a season, but all year-round," Decker tells POPSUGAR. "I think one of the lowest bars to entry into becoming a more sustainable person is just being conscious about the brands you're bringing into your home."

The Adobe Brick Project is a small part of Astral Tequila's larger sustainability mission. With every bottle of tequila that gets produced, the brand is able to upcycle the spent agave from tequila distillation into approximately two adobe bricks, which are then used to build homes in Jalisco, Mexico. In honor of Earth Month, Astral Tequila will be constructing 10 homes for those in need throughout the region.

"They are all about spreading good energy and creating good. So they believe in giving back to the community in which they are thriving and producing," Decker says.

We had the opportunity to talk with Decker about her newest collaboration with Astral Tequila, her go-to cocktail recipes, and all of the must-have products she can't live without — including a pair of Birkenstock clogs that (hear us out) might just be this summer's most popular shoe. "I just trust a person in a Birkenstock clog," Decker jokes.

Decker says this Cure Hydrating Electrolyte Mix Starter Kit ($18) is not only the key to her daily hydration, but it's also an essential that she relies on for running — especially when she was training for her first half marathon earlier this year. "I started habit stacking, which is where — in the morning — I start with a Cure packet and a cup of water, and then I do one household chore before I can have a cup of coffee. And that means that by the time I'm enjoying my cup of coffee, I've already done something good for my body," Decker explains.

Pro Tip: Flying or traveling by air can be a notoriously dehydrating experience, which is why Decker also loves to travel with these Cure Hydrating Mixes. "I do travel with them; I sneak them in when I can," she explains. Each electrolyte mix is made from a blend of plant-based, gluten-free ingredients that help to nourish the body with hydration. According to the brand, they're also a great cure for hangovers.

For Decker, this Astral Blanco Tequila ($32) isn't just a great addition to her bar cart, but it also doubles as a meaningful investment product for the long-term. Through the upcycling of spent agave, each bottle of Astral Tequila helps to create two adobe bricks, which are then used to create homes for those in need. Who knew a bottle of tequila could have such a long-lasting impact?

Pro Tip: Decker admits that while she has no shortage of go-to cocktail recipes, her current favorite is Astral Tequila's Sun Beam cocktail mixture: "It's part grapefruit, part lemonade, tequila, and club soda, which to me is just like perfect and citrusy with a little bit sweet and just delicious."

For a low-maintenance morning routine, Decker loves using this Roz Hair Oil ($45) to start her day (and hairstyle) off on the right foot. "I just don't have the bandwidth to really do my hair and put on a lot of makeup, so I try to get the essentials, which are typically things that take care of my skin, body, and hair," Decker says. "I started just adding in this oil, and it totally changed the texture of my hair."

Pro Tip: To get the most out of the product, Decker recommends applying the oil to the ends of your hair, and she also loves using a little more of the formula when her hair is wet so it soaks in and dries shinier. "Typically, I'll do two bumps [of the hair oil] in my hands, put 'em on my ends, and any leftovers, I'm putting on my arms, shoulders, and anywhere that needs a little extra love."

Besides enjoying a glass of tequila before bed, Decker also says she loves using her Calm App Subscription ($70 for a year) as part of her nighttime routine. "When we go to sleep at night, it's the first time that we're actually quiet all day; it's the first time that we don't have a podcast in, we're not on phone calls, we're not talking to other family members or friends. It's the first time that we're actually quiet, and that's typically when the thoughts start going wild," Decker says. "And so to have a grown person reading me a bedtime story in my bedroom has been the most surprising gift an app has ever given me," the actor jokes.

Pro Tip: From guided meditations to bedtime stories and soothing sounds like white noise, rainfall, and tranquil nature soundscapes, the Calm App has a variety of different offerings that are all meant to calm the body and encourage a more restful night's sleep.

Brooklyn Decker's Shoe Must Have

Decker jokes that her Birkenstock Boston Clogs ($158) are not only one of her favorite wardrobe essentials, but they might also be the most polarizing shoe in her closet. "There's never been a more polarizing shoe in my experience, and that brings me delight; it makes me happy to know that my shoe choice is evocative. My friends are either horrified that I'm wearing my clogs out and about with a dress to dinner, and [they're] equally horrified if I wear them around the house all day," she explains. "All I know is that they are the most comfortable shoe. I love them."

Pro Tip: As far as styling goes, Decker believes these clogs can be worn with anything or for any occasion. "I can slide them and wear them to dinner; I can go to the airport and I can take my kids to [school] drop-off," she says. "They've been with me for years, and they're gonna stick around for a while."
