Krispy Kreme Is Releasing Mini Dessert Doughnuts, and Oh My, That Birthday Cake One

Krispy Kreme is kicking off a new year by celebrating life's little indulgences. The retro chain just announced a range of mini doughnuts inspired by four classic desserts: lemon bars, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie dough, and birthday cake. Though they all look delicious, if we're picking favorites, it would have to be the colorful birthday cake doughnut, which is topped with rainbow sprinkles and crumbly bits.

"Coming off 2020, celebrating any and all wins — including small ones — is a way we can keep each other's spirits up," Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a press release. The tiny treats will be available at participating shops across the country starting Jan. 11. What's more, Krispy Kreme will be offering deals on Wednesdays throughout the month in what it's calling "Win-days."
