DIY These Stunning Ice Candle Holders For Your Holiday Party

If you're planning a big holiday gathering, welcome guests in a pretty and sparkling way with these DIY candle holders. They take minutes to make, then set overnight in your freezer. Place along steps or at your front door, and fill with LED lights that won't melt your festive holders.

What You'll Need:

Directions:

  1. Select two cans, one larger with another that fits inside with at least a 1-inch margin. The more space between the center can and the outside can, the more solid the candle holder will be. Fill the base of the can with 1 inch of shaved ice, then sprinkle with the potpourri or bowl filler.

  1. Now place the smaller can in the center of the larger can and fill with pie weights or popcorn kernels, which will keep it in place. Sprinkle artificial snow around the sides along with more holiday potpourri and bowl filler, layering with shaved ice, which keeps the items in place.

  1. Once you're finished, fill the sides with water, then place in the freezer overnight.
  2. To release the candle holders, place in a large bowl and surround with cool water, pouring a small amount in the inside can, too. Leave for a minute, then flip and remove the candle.
