Make Marbled Easter Eggs With 1 Secret Ingredient

If a basket of colorful Easter eggs thrilled you as a kid, the grown-up you will swoon over these marbled versions. While they look complicated, Style Me Pretty Living founder and editor Abby Larson devised a ridiculously easy tutorial for pulling off the look. In fact, it's as simple as the drop-and-dye method you used as a kid. The secret? Grape juice.

Here's what you need:
Grape juice
White vinegar
White eggs
Glass or metal bowl
Gold paint

Step 1:
Hard-boil or blow out your eggs. Abby points out that if you're planning on hard-boiling them, remember that the eggs will not be edible later. If you blow out the eggs, you'll need to place something on top of the bowl to keep the eggs covered in the dye.

Step 2:
Mix equal parts grape juice and vinegar in a bowl, enough to submerge your eggs. Place eggs in the bowl, and leave overnight.

Step 3:
The next day, remove eggs from the bowl and rinse off. Use a paper towel to rub away the foamy layer, revealing the marbled surface.

Step 4:
Dip egg partially into a cup of gold paint. Place upside down in an egg carton to dry.

Step 5:
Place in a bowl on your Easter table to enjoy!
