Kat Von D Just Bought the House From One of Your Favorite Childhood Movies

Tattoo artist and beauty mogul Kat Von D just dropped $6.5 million on a breathtaking Victorian mansion in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The three-story historic home sprawls across 12,565 square feet and has 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. If that sounds big enough for an enormous family to move into, you're onto something. The house was featured in the beloved 2003 family film Cheaper by the Dozen starring Steve Martin about a couple who have more kids than they know what to do with.

The turn-of-the-century property is filled with stunning period details, such as stained-glass windows, a dining room with linen-fold paneling, and even a hidden bar. The formal living room is so grand that it's nicknamed the "French ballroom," and the third floor boasts its own stage with working footlights.

Kat nabbed a real historic gem loaded with charm. We can't wait to see how she applies her signature dark and goth-inspired style to it. Check out the property in all its glory ahead.
