Lori Loughlin's Real-Life Full House Will Blow You Away

She's best known for her starring role as Aunt Becky on the soon-to-be-rebooted sitcom Full House, but in real life Lori Loughlin is happy to let her fashion entrepreneur husband Mossimo Giannulli (he founded and later sold the eponymous Target brand) take the leading role on home renovations. The couple has renovated seven homes to painstaking perfection during their 17 years of marriage. "It's always been his passion, and I roll with it because he does the heavy lifting. I know it will turn out beautifully," the actress told Elle Decor.

The couple and their three kids most recently purchased and renovated a 7,000-square-foot Italianesque villa in Beverly Hills, CA, with a storied past; Columbia Pictures founder Harry Cohn built the estate in 1929 and talent agent Johnny Hyde later shacked up in it with his new discovery Marilyn Monroe. By the time Lori and Mossimo purchased the then-80-something-year-old home, its structure was dilapidated and its interior seriously outdated. Mossimo was craving a challenge, and so the couple embarked on a mission to revive the historic space with decidedly contemporary elements.

The home more than doubled in size during the renovation, so Lori and Mossimo installed a modern-feeling breezeway to connect the old structure with the new kitchen and family room.

The basalt stone floors in the breezeway continue outside into the garden.

A custom dining table and chairs rest below dramatic pendant lights by David Wiseman.

The walls in daughter Olivia's room are covered in peach linen and the bed is custom made, but the area rug can be purchased at Restoration Hardware.

An oversize painting by Otto Zitko is the focal point of the upstairs family room.

This modernist room includes vintage loft elements, such as polished concrete floors.

With Lori and Mossimo's masterpiece completed, the couple is already scouting for their next Hollywood Hills home to tackle.
