3 Ways to Make Halloween Decor Chic, According to the Property Brothers

We recently chatted with the Property Brothers at Toronto's Producers Ball event, and after we got them to give us advice about how to make your home cozy for Fall, we had another decor question: how can you decorate for Halloween and still make it chic? Jonathan Scott understands the dilemma: "I just don't like being cheesy with anything to do with the holidays, whether it's Thanksgiving or Halloween," he told us. "I like stuff to be a little more upscale, a little more sophisticated, and it doesn't have to cost any more. You can go to the craft store and get everything." So what specifically can you do? The Scott brothers had three great, easy (and cheap!) ways to make Halloween decorations classy.

Drew: "One thing for decor that’s easy are flowers. if you find something that has more of those orange tones [they’re] easy to pop into your design.”

Jonathan: "I love decorating with fruit, going out and getting squash and pumpkins — but not going over the top with it so it’s cheesy."
