Lowe's 12-Foot Animatronic Mummy Will Tower Over Trick-or-Treaters This Halloween

If you go big or don't bother handing out candy on Halloween, then Lowe's latest spooky-season decor is for you. The home improvement store's 2023 Halloween collection includes a towering 12-foot light-up animatronic mummy that's sure to make trick-or-treaters scream. Forget the toilet paper wrapped mummies of the past: this gigantic mummy wears a tattered shroud that suggests it just crawled its way out of a tomb and planted itself on your front lawn.

In addition to its haunting appearance, the 12-foot mummy also has posable arms and a moaning sound effect. The Lowe's mummy is interactive too, with its body moving from left to right in order to "greet" guests as they walk by. The mummy's skeletal shape also lights up in red, green, blue, and white.

Lowe's massive mummy joins a growing list of oversize Halloween decor on the market this year. The store also has a nightmare-inducing 8-foot tall clown for sale. Meanwhile, over at Home Depot, Halloween devotees can purchase a 13-foot Jack Skellington (that sings!), and the viral 12-foot skeleton from 2022 is back, as well.
