True, Angelina and Diane stole the Cannes red carpet yesterday. But today, I have nothing but adoration for model Natasha Poly in Roberto Cavalli. She also attended the Inglourious Basterds premiere, and look at the model beauty. Strapless gowns are a bit tired, but her stormy black-and-gray gown is a rarity. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who are hosting their annual blowout tomorrow night, have officially docked their "mirrored floating disco" yacht, according to T's Stefano Tonchi, and joined in on the fun. Natasha Poly, who needed the help of two women to get into her Cavalli gown yesterday, reappeared in a leopard dress. Claudia Schiffer made her first red carpet appearance of the festival. And Carine Roitfeld made the rounds, stopping to chat with Twilight's Robert Pattinson.
The Cannes Film Festival has no shortage of parties, amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS benefit being one of the biggest. This year's star-studded red carpet cast includes Zoe Saldana, Eva Herzigova (in Dolce & Gabbana), Dita von Teese (in Jean Paul Gaultier), Diane Kruger (in Chanel), and Kerry Washington (in Marchesa). As you can see, each pulled out all the stops, but only one can be most Fab.
