We're excited to present this article by celebrity stylist, Oribe, featured on one of our favorite sites, Daily Makeover!

I've worked with a lot of celebrities over the course of my career, but working with an icon like Cher is definitely one of the highlights — it's a milestone I've always looked forward to.

Her new movie Burlesque is coming out on Thanksgiving, so I had the honor of styling her hair for her December Vanity Fair cover. She's wonderful because even though she's bigger than life, she's very open and great to work with on-set. She makes you feel very creative. To check out celebrity hairstylist Oribe's tips for getting Cher's hair right, just keep reading.

Christina Aguilera and Cher Steal the Show at the Burlesque Premiere

The red carpet was buzzing at last night's premiere of Burlesque in LA.

The red carpet was buzzing at last night's premiere of Burlesque in LA. Christina Aguilera was dressed up in a bold green Elie Saab gown, after donning a bright white dress to receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier in the day. She opted for a more toned down look than her onscreen character, who plays the part in glittery eye-makeup and big hair. Cher went short and sparkly for the event and their costar Eric Dane had his wife Rebecca Gayheart by his side. Julianne Hough and her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest posed for pictures separately, though she recently gushed that "everything is wonderful" with their relationship. AnnaLynne McCord showed up solo after being spotted sneaking away from a romantic rendezvous with her ex Kellan Lutz yesterday. The musical, which is just one of many hot releases this month, features Christina's explosive voice and hits theaters on Nov. 24.

Kate, Julia, and Fergie Get Together For a Glamourous Night

Glamour magazine played hosted last night at its annual Women of the Year gala in NYC.

Glamour magazine played hosted last night at its annual Women of the Year gala in NYC. Fergie, who looked hot in red alongside husband Josh Duhamel, was among the year's honorees, which also included the always classy Queen Rania of Jordan, Donatella Versace, Julia Roberts, Cher, and more. Hilary Swank and Janet Jackson were on hand to present a statue to Donatella. Janet shared kind words about how Donatella was close with both her and her late brother Michael, even dressing them for his memorial service. Kate, meanwhile, introduced Fergie's achievement. Fergie was in tears as she thanked her mom, sister, and husband for letting her get glamorous in their bathrooms all the time.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg handed awards to athletes Lisa Leslie, Mia Hamm, and Lindsey Vonn, but the crowd really went wild when Oprah Winfrey stepped out to present an honor to Julia Roberts. Oprah spoke about Julia's skills as a mom, which is fitting since the actress just created a documentary on motherhood for the daytime queen's upcoming OWN network. Stanley Tucci was last to step out to speak about the humanitarian work done by Cher, who received a plaque and flag from two wounded soldiers from The Heroes Project. It was the magazine's latest star-studded evening celebrating the accomplishments of women, after recently hosting a bash for budding directors Jessica Biel and Eva Mendes.
