Which TV Host Would Make the Best President?

Extra, extra! The AOL TV Host Poll results just came in.

Extra, extra! The AOL TV Host Poll results just came in. And the winning couple is . . . Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Larry King! So, what did they win?

Well, the honors were a little dubious. The View's Elisabeth was voted the "Worst Interviewer" and Larry of the omnipresent suspenders and weird slouchy hunch was voted "Least Sexy Host." Odd.

And the big question as to which TV host would also make the best President? Readers chose Diane Sawyer. Hmm. . . President Sawyer. Do you agree?

Charlie Wilson's War Goes All Black in NYC

Last night's NYC screening of Charlie Wilson's War was a formal affair with not a whole lot of color at all on the red carpet.

Last night's NYC screening of Charlie Wilson's War was a formal affair with not a whole lot of color at all on the red carpet. Tom Hanks was there with one of his costars and fellow Golden Globe nominees, Philip Seymour Hoffman, but not Julia Roberts. While their leading lady wasn't around, a breakthrough redheaded actress with a gorgeous smile (and GG acting nominee) Amy Adams looked great in her LBD. Meanwhile, always love Steve Martin — even though my disdain for fedoras is no big secret he looks kinda awesome in his. Considering the recognition that Tom, Philip and Amy are getting for their roles this year, methinks we'll be seeing a lot of them in fancy wear as award season ramps up.

Tom and Julia Debut Charlie Wilson's War in LA

Julia Roberts looked stunning in black on the red carpet showing off Charlie Wilson's War in LA last night.

Julia Roberts looked stunning in black on the red carpet showing off Charlie Wilson's War in LA last night. Of course, Tom Hanks was there with his wife Rita Wilson alongside the real man of the hour, Congressman Charlie Wilson himself. This movie is already among the shortlist for award season front runners, and it's definitely one of the films left this year that I can't wait to see (I'm trying hard to finish the book before the movie comes out, we'll see how that goes). I guess we'll see what happens on Thursday morning when the Golden Globe nominations are announced. So soon! Anything/anyone you're hoping gets a nod?

Glamour Celebrates Its Fabulous Women of the Year

Glamour's Women of the Year 2007 came together at NYC's Lincoln Center last night to celebrate each other.

Glamour's Women of the Year 2007 came together at NYC's Lincoln Center last night to celebrate each other. Jennifer Connelly's dress was a fabulous color while the first ever Girl of the Year, Abigail Breslin looked perfectly appropriate. Mariah performed for the big event while some of TV's finest doctors, Taye and Eric Dane (and Chief), were among the men out to honor all these fabulous ladies. The issue's cover girl Jennifer Garner celebrated her night off from Broadway and pulled off a dress that most women could not, but didn't walk the red carpet with Ben. In the magazine Jennifer talks about why that is. She said:

We’ve worked really hard not to be one of those couples who are constantly in the limelight. In the past we’ve both been the kind of people who go along with things—if you’re supposed to be photographed together, you don’t question it. But how does that help your relationship? So now we refuse to walk the red carpet together: It’s a way of not condoning the attention. Plus, it just feels silly to be in that situation with him: Ben was nominated for a Golden Globe [for 2006’s Hollywoodland]. I remember being photographed next to him and thinking, This is ridiculous. You’re not some actor; you’re my husband.

While I fully appreciate her persepective, I can admit that I would love to see them walk together every once in a while. Even (or as it turns out, especially) without, they're certainly one of the cutest and most real marriages in Hollywood. A big big congrats to all the wonderful and inspiring women both winning the honors and attending the event last night. Claps, claps.

J Lo Keeps Playing Coy

J Lo stopped by GMA this morning for another performance and interview, and showed up wearing yet another flowy dress that hid her belly.

J Lo stopped by GMA this morning for another performance and interview, and showed up wearing yet another flowy dress that hid her belly. Of course Diane tried to get Jennifer to come clean, saying, "All right, all right, I know what everybody's asking, and I know you have so little privacy in your life ... so, I'm just going to say, 'How are you?'" However, J Lo was still not prepared to give anything up, replying "I'm very well, thank you. This is really, really a great, happy time in my life. ... Everything's great." I'm starting to think we may not be getting any official announcements from Jennifer but maybe we'll get to see her show off her belly in something tight one day soon!

Shakespeare In The Park Fans Ill Prepared for Rain

Tuesday evening was the opening night of Shakespeare In The Park's rendition of Romeo and Juliet in Central Park, but the evening took a turn for the worse when it started to pour, sending umbrella-less stars like Debra and Cynthia running for cover.

Tuesday evening was the opening night of Shakespeare In The Park's rendition of Romeo and Juliet in Central Park, but the evening took a turn for the worse when it started to pour, sending umbrella-less stars like Debra and Cynthia running for cover. Funny, though, because somehow Zach Braff already looks rained on. Oh wait, that might just be his greasiness. Sick. Speaking of less-than-pleasant thoughts about Zach, rumor has it that during the play he was less interested in the Wherefore Art Thous and more into hitting on actress Shiri Appleby. Yup, that sounds like the semi-sleazy Zach Braff we know and begrudgingly tolerate!

Angelina Not Pregnant, On the Pill

Angelina has been very open lately about her personal life with Brad and the kids.

Angelina has been very open lately about her personal life with Brad and the kids. She spoke about wanting more kids, falling in love with Brad and now she is telling us she's on the pill. She gave yet another interview with Diane Sawyer on GMA. She talked more about more future baby Jolie-Pitts. She was also adamant that she's not pregnant. Here's more:

"I shouldn't have been drinking wine then last night," she said with a laugh. "No, we're not. I'm on the pill."

Jolie says that while having another biological child with Pitt is a possibility, it is more likely they would adopt another child first.

"I even think that I did make it clear that we, we would think about adopting next, which is important for me in the balance of how — in our own family, our kids perceive it. I want Madd to know that as our family grew and we all came together, we didn't just start having children, biological children. You know, that, that yes, we have Shiloh and it's been a wonderful experience, but we want to find another brother or sister in the world for our family."

Jolie makes it clear that she and Pitt are not just randomly putting together a "rainbow family" with children from all over the world.

"You know, now the questions are more when you have a mixed-race family, do you balance the races so there's another African person in the house for Z? So there's another Asian person in the house for Madd? Shiloh has Brad and I she can look at," Jolie said.

Sounds like a good excuse to adopt a lot more babies! Angelina looks beautiful in the interview. It's amazing what a difference a few years make in a Hollywood life. To check out the video click here.

Mel Gibson

Mel is Still Sorry

Diane Sawyer scored big time by landing the first interview with Mel Gibson since his arrest and anti-Semitic remarks on one super drunk night.

Diane Sawyer scored big time by landing the first interview with Mel Gibson since his arrest and anti-Semitic remarks on one super drunk night. He's calling what he said back in July the "stupid rambling of a drunkard." He also said he has not had a drink in 65 days and it sounds like he is counting. Here's more:

"What I need to do to heal myself and to be assuring and allay the fears of others and to heal them if they had any heart wounds from something I may have said," Gibson says. "So, this is the last thing I want to be is that kind of monster."

More of Mel and his interview will be airing on Thursday, Oct. 12 and Friday, Oct. 13 on "Good Morning America." Sounds like someone is working on image control. Who will win, Mel or Tom?
