Fashion Week 2007

Just when I thought Rachel Bilson couldn't get any cuter, she goes and brings up babies. Not her babies, but babies close to her that may someday grow up into Bilson-like adults. Huzzah! More Bilsons! Bilson/Bilson '08. Anyway, R-Bils was at Fashion Week briefly last week, but had to rush home for a very special delivery. Here's more:

"I have to fly back out to L.A. straight after at 6 a.m. My stepmother is having a baby, so I'm literally in and out. It's a girl - there are no surprises."

Now all we need are some pictures of her, holding her baby sister, while walking her adorable dogs...or something. Epic levels of adorable.

Another week down, eh ladies? There were highs, there were certainly lows and, of course, there was ::jazz hands::fashion::jazz hands::. So what went down? Heeere we go:

• Anna Nicole Smith passed away. We have a feeling this story, which is already incredibly complicated and shady, is just getting started.
• Fashion week came, and went and while we were more interested in the front rows and catfights and cute Bilsons, our fancy sister was around to talk shop.
• We had a breakthrough with Fergie. Though Carmen should probably start getting angry about appearance copyright infringement.
• OMG Ryan Phillippe is dating A CHILD! Or, you know, not.
• Mischa and Cisco broke up, but he was the last to know. Something about an overexposed bag.
• Head in Hands. Oh, Britney.
• Celebrities were sighted. Have you seen any?

Sick of Rachel Bilson yet? Never! Huzzah! Right. Here are some more shots from the Zac Posen show, R-Bils with the man of the hour and Rihanna. Moderately random. That's kind of the best thing about events like this. I mean, how much could Rih-Rih and R-Bils have to chat about, you know, other than the trials and tribulations of being famous. Who am I kidding, Rihanna is pretending to listen to R-Bils while instead mentally perfecting her latest squat dance maneuver. R-Bils on the other hand, is running her mouth with general cuteocity while really thinking about puppies, unicorns and rainbows.

After some super sleuthing (read: waiting to see photos come up), I uncovered the great mystery of where Rachel Bilson was flying on Wednesday -- NY Fashion Week. I'd heard a rumor that she would make an appearance at some of the runway events, but my hope was quickly waning as days and days of coverage passed with nary a Bilson sighting. Yesterday afternoon, however, my prayers were answered in the form of Ms. Bilson front row at the Badgley Mischka show. Rejoice, she's still cute.

Paris Hilton has been a friend to the slapped together by children heinous avant-garde design team Heatherette for years, but that certainly doesn't mean that she'll pull through in the clutch for her buddies. The heiress was scheduled to appear at the Heatherette runway show yesterday evening (which sounds like it went just swimmingly), but declined to show up, citing a stomach flu. You know, that special type of flu that comes the day after 3AM tequila shots. Paris was out until the wee small hours of the morning with very much on-again boyfriend Stavros Niarchos, and just wasn't feeling up for the runway the next morning. As you can see, she may have been less-than sober.

Hey, I'm just surprised the fashion line, though known for shoving controversial pieces down the runway, would still want to associate with Paris considering everything that has recently come to light about the girl.

Carmen Electra spent some time enjoying Fashion Week (oh, and signing jeans...of course) over the weekend. She looked especially stunning at (and in) Diane von Furstenberg. And some lucky (if you're into that sort of thing) fan (who apparently wasn't into dressing for the event) got a denim upgrade thanks to Carmen's John Hancock. Hey, I just hope that girl actually wanted Carmen to sign the jeans rather than being elected into the photo-op by the actress herself.
