Orlando Bloom and his son, Flynn, went for a post-New Year's Day stroll yesterday in LA. At one point, nearly 2-year-old Flynn walked on his own with a little help from dad. Orlando's big birthday is this Sunday, Jan. 6. The pair have been all about the outdoors lately. Orlando was spotted hiking with son Flynn in LA's Runyon Canyon on Sunday, too.

2012 ended on a rocky note for Orlando, who confronted false rumors that he and wife Miranda Kerr had broken up. The allegations had been plaguing the couple for months, but the family looked happy and very much together when they were photographed visiting a friend's house after Christmas. However, reports of a split popped up again when Miranda tweeted a photo of herself without her wedding ring on New Year's Eve. But the rumors looked to be squashed again when, later that day, Miranda tweeted a new photo of herself wearing her ring and writing, "Forgiveness is the answer to the child's dream of a miracle by which what is broken is made whole again."

Orlando Bloom took his son, Flynn Bloom, and the family dog for a hike in LA's Runyon Canyon yesterday. Orlando carried Flynn, who was bundled up in a coat and beanie, on his back as he got in some exercise on the trail. The Bloom-Kerr family has been back in Southern California for the holidays. Last week, Miranda and Flynn were seen fitting in some Christmas shopping, and the three of them also made time to stop by a holiday party together.

The year was a busy one for Miranda and Orlando. She spent much of the Fall focused on her duties with Victoria's Secret, while Orlando focused on shooting a film, Zulu, in South Africa. Orlando and Flynn Christmas-shopped together, and Miranda shared a photo of the panna cotta dessert she made for her boys on the special day.

Orlando's recent absence — he was off shooting Zulu in South Africa — ignited rumors that he and Miranda were headed for a split. She wasn't able to join him on location since work with Victoria's Secret kept her in NYC. However, their reps, and even Orlando's mother, dismissed the stories as false. Miranda also took to Twitter on Sunday to shut down a pregnancy rumor that began when her account was hacked. Miranda has since tweeted that it was "ridiculous" and that she is not pregnant. She does have another project to focus on, though, since the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air next week after she and her fellow Angels hit the runway in lingerie earlier this month.
