Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi showed off their wedding bands last night at the W Hotel in LA as they celebrated Neil Lane's new bridal collection for Kay Jewelers. Many of the designer's celebrity fans also came out, including Eva Longoria, Ashlee Simpson, Kate Walsh, and Kristin Davis. Neil is the go-to guy for engagement rings in Hollywood — he told us a few famous men have stopped in recently to make a purchase, but he wouldn't reveal who! We also had a chance to talk with Ashlee, who sported a a dip-dyed brown do. She revealed that she's met Jessica's new boyfriend, Eric Johnson, and she approves. Ashlee said, "He's great. And as long as Jessica's happy, that's all I wish her. And she's happy, so right on!" We also grilled Kristin Davis on reports that Sex and the City 3 is a definite no-go. She said, "I don't think it's going to happen." However, she added that she's always up to revisit Charlotte should the opportunity arise.

Rachel Bilson and Eva Longoria were together in LA last night to toast the shoe designer Brian Atwood at InStyle magazine's Dinner with a Designer event. The actresses were joined by a fresh-from-Japan Kristin Davis, who is finally enjoying a break after her whirlwind Sex and the City 2 press tour full of beautiful vintage dresses. Rachel Zoe finished shooting the third season of her show to make the rounds near Kristen Bell. The meal for Rachel was more than just friendly, as she and Brian have collaborated on a chic pair of boots. Rachel has also been sharing her own wisdom on fashion as a guest blogger for Fab — appropriately, her latest post was all about perfect-for-Summer footwear options.

Kristin Davis has looked incredible on the red carpet as she promotes SATC2, and it’s not because she’s wearing the hottest runway looks of the season: The actress has chosen at least five different vintage looks from Decades, Inc., a vintage couture consignment boutique. Most recently she debuted a soft yellow Jean Patou Haute Couture dress by Christian Lacroix in Japan, then a gold sequin Norman Norell gown and a green Christian Dior Couture frock for the London fetes. She began her vintage couture parade with a hot pink Jean Desses gown at the N.Y.C. premiere and a glittering Pierre Balmain dress for the after-party. “Kristin is a good friend. She has a tiny ribcage and even tinier waist–it lends itself to the vintage aesthetic,” Cameron Silver, owner of the famous boutique, told us. As for the most sought-after items at the store, like Dior from the early ’50s and anything Balmain: “It’s first come, first serve–except when it comes to Kristin! She gets first dibs on everything!’
