We tend to gravitate toward red and gold colors around the holidays, but when we laid eyes on the dark green dress Leighton Meester wore to the Target + Neiman Marcus holiday collection launch in NYC last night, we knew we had to work it into our upcoming party circuit. It's festive but in a more subtle way. The actress finished her red-carpet look off with black pumps, a black clutch, and a bold red lip. Mimic Leighton's latest ensemble by shopping our favorite dark green dresses below. Don't forget to add black accessories, and maybe a statement jewelry piece, to make yourself really pop.
Kate Bosworth, in white Emilio Pucci, hit the red carpet in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection with Zoe Saldana. Zoe tweeted that she was "so excited to be here!" Leighton Meester, meanwhile, was pumped about the "amazing collaboration." Even the special guests had to wait in line to get their hands on the goods — we caught Kate at the register at the end of the night!
The much-awaited collaboration between the two retailers goes on sale this Saturday, Dec. 1 — check out all the Target + Neiman Marcus items, which were created by designers like Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, and Marchesa. Many of the designers hit last night's bash too to say hi to Kate, Zoe, Leighton, and Girls star Allison Williams.

Will there finally be wedding bells for Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf? It certainly looked that way yesterday as the gang shot an episode of their final season in NYC. Blake Lively was on set with many of her small-screen costars, including Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Wallace Shawn. The final season of Gossip Girl kicked off with a premiere one week ago, and there was even more Upper East Side drama on last night's episode — check out Buzz's biggest OMG moments! The love life of Blake's Serena van der Woodsen is as confusing as ever, but in real life, Blake's perfectly happy with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan even kept Blake company at a recent Chanel bash in NYC, where she showed off her enormous and gorgeous engagement ring.
Blake Lively flashed her engagement ring today on set in NYC as she continued filming new episodes of Gossip Girl. Joining Blake was Taylor Momsen, who apparently has a part in show's final season, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Blake was also among the cast members on hand yesterday to shoot Chuck and Blair's romantic wedding.
Weddings have been a big deal lately for Blake. Blake planned most of her own nuptials — she and Ryan Reynolds married last month in Mount Pleasant, SC. According to sources close to Blake, she "wanted it to feel just like she was at home." That meant Ryan and Blake had to include their dogs, Penny and Baxter, in the celebration. Details and images of the big day have been highly guarded, but fans will only have to wait to see the soiree in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
Spoiler alert: Blair Waldorf is taking another walk down the aisle, and this time, she's doing it in ultra embellished powder blue Elie Saab Couture. While Leighton Meester's Gossip Girl opted for a white princess-worthy Vera Wang gown for her wedding to Prince Louis, she's taking on the burgeoning real-life trend of wearing a nonwhite wedding dress for her onscreen nuptial redux. Off set, stars like Anne Hathaway, clad in custom blush Valentino, and Amber Tamblyn, married in a bold saffron hue, have set the tone for less traditional wedding ensembles. Now, we've got Blair's stunning floor-length floral appliqué gown — complete with a matching waistline accent — to add to the list. With her crystal-encrusted tiara and turquoise earrings as the finishing touches, we're officially enamored of this wedding-day look. Here's your all-angles sneak peek at her dress, and be sure to let us know which Blair Waldorf wedding dress you like best in the comments!
The cast of Gossip Girl continued filming their final season in NYC yesterday. Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, and Ed Westwick were in front of the cameras after also appearing on set Monday. Blake and Penn shared a few night scenes, while Ed took off running for his part and Leighton bundled up in a coat in between takes. The season six premiere hits the small screen on Oct. 8, and you can gear up for the big show with a look at pictures from the final episodes of Gossip Girl.
The series may be ending, but Blake has another reason to celebrate. She and Ryan Reynolds got married last month and they've been keeping a low profile ever since. Blake did wear her ring to work last week, though we'll have to wait until December for a peek at images from her big day when her spread in Martha Stewart Weddings is revealed.
Blake Lively was back on the NYC set of Gossip Girl this morning to log time in front of the cameras with her costars. She was joined on the Manhattan set by Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Kaylee DeFer. The foursome worked on a scene together, with Blake checking her iPhone between takes. Blake was bundled up in a W118 by Walter Baker coat and a Theodora & Callum scarf for the episode, despite the mid-70s temperatures in the Big Apple today. She's been working on Gossip Girl for the last two weeks, since taking a short break to marry Ryan Reynolds in South Carolina. Apparently, some castmates attended Blake's wedding — Kaylee told us that Blake got her work friends to go down South for the getaway because she described it as a "girls' trip!"
Being an actress and musician isn't easy, but Leighton Meester makes it look like a breeze. This Fall, she wraps up her stint as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl; she stars opposite Hugh Laurie in a new movie, The Oranges; and she returns as the face of Vera Wang's newest scent, Lovestruck Floral Rush. "Life experience is the number-one thing that inspires me and helps me to create," she explains. "I always want to feel challenged and inspired and excited."

The ladies of Gossip Girl got to work on the streets of NYC yesterday. Leighton Meester was joined by Michelle Trachtenberg and Kelly Rutherford for an afternoon of filming in bundled-up Fall looks. It's back to business as usual for the cast, who recently celebrated costar Blake Lively's marriage on set. The wedding will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, and Martha herself recently shared that Blake looked "very gorgeous" on her big day. Blake wasn't spotted in front of the cameras during the latest workday, though she has still been in the spotlight. Blake pregnancy rumors have swirled since her nuptials to Ryan Reynolds earlier this month, but her rep was quick to deny the news.
