At the GLAAD Media Awards, she showed off piecey bangs and a new dark brunette hair color. Her new look was styled with tousled waves, which were reminiscent of the grunge trend seen on the Fashion Week runways. Jessica Chastain and Milla Jovovich showed love for Karl Lagerfeld today when they dropped by the Chanel Fall 2013 fashion presentation during Paris Fashion Week. Both Milla and Jessica wore black-and-white Chanel pieces, with Jessica carrying a classic Chanel handbag. Vanessa Paradis also attended the show, mingling with friend Karl before the fun began.

Milla Jovovich and her family vacationed in Maui over New Year's week. She and husband Paul W.S. Anderson hung out on the beach with their daughter Ever on Monday and splashed around in the waves. The trio got together for a family photo on the sand with Paul going shirtless and Milla covering up her white bikini with a wrap. They were back in the sun yesterday, dipping their feet in the water. Milla and Paul are just a few of the stars — including Jennifer Aniston, Channing Tatum, and Jude Law — that got away to celebrate the end of the year.
Milla rang in 2013 with a Facebook message to her fans, writing, "I want to send my best wishes for your New Year on behalf of myself and my entire family! For you all to have health, family around you, happiness in your personal life, success in your professional. Now I know that's a pretty tall order, but hey, I've always thought big! It's been 18 years since Milla Jovovich released her first — and only — album, The Divine Comedy, but the model-actress-singer is making up for lost time with an upcoming EP set to be released this August.
"It's really exciting, it's fun," Jovovich said of the music-making process. "It was me and my two closest friends. We just did it in my home studio on the computer. So it's very synth pop, or electronic."
The album's first single, "Electric Sky" hit YouTube a few days ago, and though there's no corresponding imagery yet, there will be soon. "We are going to shoot a video," Jovovich assured. "We're doing a video in a couple weeks that we'll also put out for free." Until then, have a first listen here.

"It's really exciting," she said of her forthcoming EP. "It was me and my two closest friends. We just did it in my home studio, on the computer." Next up? An accompanying video, which, like the single, will be available online for free. In the meantime, we'll settle for borrowing her summery makeup palette. She wore L'Oréal's Infallible eye shadow in Amber Rush and Infallible Le Rouge lipstick in Charismatic Coral. Like just about everything else Milla puts together, it's a beautifully unconventional pairing.

Last night was a busy one for many celebrities at Cannes. Milla Jovovich was decked out to make the rounds, starting at the Chopard and L'Oréal bash at the Hotel Martinez. She mingled at L'Oréal with fellow brand ambassadors Luisana Lopilato and model Natasha Poly. We caught a moment with Milla at the soiree, and she spoke about what her favorite part of the festival has been. Milla said, "The last two years I brought my daughter, so it's all about getting my work done and getting back to bed to sleep with my little girl. She was all day at the beach — loves it, loves it. She met a little friend here. They're best friends now — in the whole world — after one day together." Milla and her husband Paul W. S. Anderson are the proud parents of 4-year-old Ever.
The next stop on the party agenda was de Grisogono's Glam Extravaganza at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in nearby Antibes. There, Milla caught up with celeb pals like Heidi Klum, Alec Baldwin and his fiancée Hilaria Thomas, Adrien Brody, and the Hilton sisters. Both Nicky and Paris are making the rounds this week. Nicky, though, has her new boyfriend in town, too — we spotted her out on a dinner date with new guy James Rothschild, an English banking heir.
