Kate Moss Schools 20-Somethings in the Art of Partying '80s-Style

Kate Moss was the life of the party in London last night!

Kate Moss was the life of the party in London last night! Along with her husband, Jamie Hince, mom Linda Moss, and friends like Stella McCartney and Rhys Ifans, Kate put on her finest '80s gear to mark the 50th birthday of their pal Fran Cutler at the Groucho Club. Fran, a PR executive, has been friends with Kate for years, and their many mutual friends helped pull off the surprise bash, which included many unique moments, from a This-Is-Your-Life-style presentation from Rhys and a set from Rita Ora.

Rita was there with her BFF Cara Delevingne. 20-year-old Cara and 22-year-old Rita's social circles have overlapped with Kate's now that Rita is romantically linked to Kate's good friend Dave Gardner, who's also close with David Beckham. Rita and Cara both dressed up for the period theme, though Kate topped them all by pulling out a second ensemble for the afterparty at The Box.

She wore a green jumpsuit while she mingled in the concert's VIP area, which also held Rita Ora, Jamie Hince, model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne, and Harry Styles, who was fresh off of Taylor Swift's alleged public diss of him at the Grammy Awards earlier this month. Cara, Harry, Rita, and Jamie kept the good times rolling post-show with a stop by AnOther magazine and Dazed & Confused London Fashion Week party at Cafe Royal.

Kate has been keeping busy in London while Matthew Bellamy has been working on gigs with Muse. Trend Alert: Conjoined Braids

Braids will always be bountiful in the world of beauty, but lately it seems that celebrities are taking to a new kind of plait: the conjoined braid.

Braids will always be bountiful in the world of beauty, but lately it seems that celebrities are taking to a new kind of plait: the conjoined braid. This twisted style starts as a french braid that frames your face before cascading into a long tail. Celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora have been spotted sporting the style, and Lucy Liu added a formal flair to her braid when she walked it down the red carpet at the Golden Globes. A new twist can add some life to an otherwise played-out style, but will you be taking the conjoined braid out for a spin?

How to Mix and Match Red Makeup This Winter

Still unsure of how to wear red makeup this Winter?

Still unsure of how to wear red makeup this Winter? Rita Ora made a good case for mixing and matching shades of crimson for a well-rounded beauty look. Her lipstick is an obvious choice, and wearing a bright red shade on your lips is an easy way to pull together a series of makeup looks. But Rita took it a step further and wore the shade on her eyes as well.

Opting for a lighter, creamier shade of red, Rita blended her shadow from lash line to eyebrows. The color isn't overtly red, and contains shades of orange and gold, making it a perfect pairing to her cherry-red lips. And since the shades complement one another instead of match, Rita looks unexpectedly cool instead of tacky. If you're looking to try something similar, mix and match your textures and colors. Couple a heavily pigmented lipstick, like MAC Lipstick in Russian Red ($15) with a semisheer eye shadow, like Hermit by Kat Von D ($13, originally $20, part of the True Romance palette). The result will be head turning . . . in a good way.
