Cosmopolitan magazine gathered a few Hollywood hotties together last night in LA for their 2009 Fun Fearless Awards. Chace Crawford took a night off from the Upper East Side to party with fellow honorees like Aaron Eckhart and Bradley Cooper. While 2008's group featured a who's who of Jessica Simpson's flames, this year's crop had one — Adam Levine. Ali Larter, meanwhile, was on hand to pick up the award for the year's Fearless Female. She spent the night mingling with all the award-winning guys, proving she's comfortable being the lone woman in a sea of sexy gentlemen.

Dakota Fanning chose yet another strapless number but still looked perfectly pretty. Al Gore found his way into a conversation with Will Smith who had his wife for a date. Jennifer Hudson took home the Best New Artist award and said, "Now don't start me to crying again, y'all. It's always an honor to come home and feel welcome and to feel the love."

Rihanna was up for Female Performer of the year, but it was Beyonce who took the prize and also performed at the event. Diddy took home the award for TV Movie Actor while Will Smith and Rosario Dawson both won for Seven Pounds. Best picture went to The Secret Life of Bees — check out all the winners here. ABC All Stars Pose Hands-on-Hips and Party the Night Away

After spending a long day sitting on panels and fielding questions at the TCAs, the ABC and Disney stars got dressed up and hit the red carpet last night.

After spending a long day sitting on panels and fielding questions at the TCAs, the ABC and Disney stars got dressed up and hit the red carpet last night. Despite moving filming to NYC, the Ugly Betty beauties like Becki Newton (get her look here) were representing, even with no America Ferrera. Mixing our medical shows, Kate Walsh hung all over Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence celebrating life back on ABC. Nick Lachey didn't have Vanessa on his arm but looked handsome out promoting his High School Musical reality show. Check out lots more over on Buzz from all the stars and all the fun new and familiar shows!

TCAs Get Private, Dirty, Desperate and a Little Bit Grey

Some of the big names at ABC hit the stage at the TCAs in LA this afternoon.

Some of the big names at ABC hit the stage at the TCAs in LA this afternoon. Even though there was no specific Grey's Anatomy panel, the show was still the first thing on everyone's mind when Shonda Rhimes entered the room — check out all of that on Buzz. Sigh, love Peter Krause. As for Desperate Housewives, Eva's haircut is adorable in person, she got it since she was told to get a "mom" cut and didn't want to wear a wig, and we should expect to see her looking glamorous again by mid season. Mark Cherry also jokingly admitted how the 5 year flash forward got out, "I made the mistake of telling one of my actors, and the next thing I read it in the Times, going, 'Damn it, Marcia.'" From details of Ugly Betty in NYC — costumes by Pat Field who did the premiere! — to Dirty Sexy Money — with Lucy Liu! — to Private Practice — more medicine less drama! — there's so much more coverage over on Buzz.

Celebrities Play Heroes For a Day in Sunny LA

It was a beautiful Sunday in LA where lots of familiar faces came out for the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

It was a beautiful Sunday in LA where lots of familiar faces came out for the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Among the all-stars out for the great event were adorable (and tiny!) new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden along with Courteney Cox and ever-quirky David Arquette. Mischa looked every bit the flower child in her butterfly wings while all the ladies (and ugh Heidi and Spencer) of The Hills happily posed for the cameras. I have to say though, little Coco totally stole the show. Looking at all the smiles, the sun wasn't the only thing shining on all the stars out to support the wonderful cause.

TV Tonight: In Treatment

If the writers' strike has left a void where your TiVo queue used to be, In Treatment is coming along to fill it up.

If the writers' strike has left a void where your TiVo queue used to be, In Treatment is coming along to fill it up. Starting tonight, the HBO series kicks off its rather intense schedule, airing for a half-hour a night, five nights a week.

Gabriel Byrne stars as psychotherapist Paul Weston, and each half-hour installment focuses on a session with a different patient. On Tuesdays, there's Alex (Blair Underwood), a pilot struggling to come to terms with something that happened in Iraq; on Wednesdays, it's Sophie (Mia Wasikowska), a teenage gymnast with possible self-destructive tendencies. On Fridays, Paul takes his turn on the couch for a session with his therapist (Dianne Wiest).

I'm intrigued by the concept, and as a fan of HBO's other therapy-based series (Tell Me You Love Me), I could see myself getting hooked. On the other hand, five episodes a week for nine weeks is a lot to follow, even with so little else on television. Think you can handle this Treatment? Blair Underwood Is About to Be Everywhere

If you don't already know Blair Underwood's face, chances are you will by the end of this TV season.

If you don't already know Blair Underwood's face, chances are you will by the end of this TV season. The ex-LA Law star has not one, not two, but three major TV roles going on right now — and if the schedules work out right, he could literally appear in all of them at the same time. Where's Underwood going to be? Here's a primer:

  • On Dirty Sexy Money, Underwood plays Simon Elder, the mysterious man who seems to have the key to all the Darling family's secrets. He could know who killed Nick George's father — or, he might have even been involved in Dutch's death. Who knows? With any luck, we'll get to find out: The show was able to complete three additional episodes before the writers' strike shut down production, even though they're yet to be scheduled.

  • Next up, Underwood will make his debut on In Treatment, HBO's marathon five-nights-a-week TV show that premieres Jan. 28. He'll play Alex, a patient of therapist Paul (Gabriel Byrne) who seeks treatment because he's haunted by the work he did in Iraq when serving in the Air Force. His "appointments" will air Tuedays at 9:30 p.m.
  • Finally, Underwood will be back as Mr. Harris when The New Adventures of Old Christine returns to the air Feb. 4. The Boston Globe calls this one the strangest of all of Underwood's roles, as he's utterly smitten with Julia Louis-Dreyfus' neurotic Christine. But hey, maybe it will be good to see him playing a character without a deep, dark history for a change.

Have you noticed Underwood around more lately? And will you be checking out any of his shows this Winter?

HBO Schedules Some Intense Treatment

I'm excited about In Treatment, the forthcoming HBO show starring Gabriel Byrne as a psychotherapist who is in therapy himself — but it's going to take over my life.

I'm excited about In Treatment, the forthcoming HBO show starring Gabriel Byrne as a psychotherapist who is in therapy himself — but it's going to take over my life. See, HBO recently released its schedule for the show, and it's ... intense.

The show will air half-hour episodes five times a week for nine weeks. That's a total of 45 episodes — double the number a regular series airs in nine months.

Each night of the week will focus on a different patient for the duration of the series. One patient's story will always air on Mondays, another on Tuesdays, and so on; on Fridays, Byrne's character takes the couch with his own therapist (Dianne Wiest). The other stars, by the way, include Melissa George, Blair Underwood, Mia Wasikowska, Josh Charles, and Embeth Davidtz. Since that adds up to six patients total, I assume one of them is a couples session. (In a pretty cool twist, HBO Select will be airing the sessions at their "actual" times — so if a patient's session is always Mondays at 9 a.m., that's when you'll see the episode.)

This series could be awesome — it has a cool concept, and it's written by a Big Love and Six Feet Under writer and produced by Mark Wahlberg. I really want to like it. But 45 episodes over nine weeks? That's more intense than a college course! What do you think? Would you be willing to watch something like In Treatment — or are you intimidated before it's even begun?

Dirty Sexy Premiere

One of the new shows I'm most excited about is without a doubt Dirty Sexy Money.

One of the new shows I'm most excited about is without a doubt Dirty Sexy Money. It has everything I love on TV (mostly). A Baldwin? Check. A Sutherland? Check. Actors from favorite TV shows of the past? Check (Samaire Armstrong, aka Anna from The OC), check (Peter Krause, aka Nate from Six Feet Under). Scandal, intrigue, decadence, moral conundrums? Check, check, check, check. I can't wait - and last night's LA premiere of the show just makes me even more anxious for Wednesday! The young star of the show, Chloe Moretz, sure knows how to work a red carpet already, doesn't she?
