How to Get Selena Gomez's Bouncy Revival Tour Waves — Straight From Her Hairstylist

If you're one of the (we estimate) millions of women around the globe googling "how to get Selena Gomez's waves," take note, because we went straight to the source and got the incredibly easy step-by-step from her longtime hairstylist and Pantene partner Marissa Marino.

In a short break from joining Selena on her Revival tour, after which Selena will be taking a break to care for her health, Marissa was happy to spill the beans, giving us the down-low on the easy secrets behind the "Kill Em With Kindness" singer's stunning and staple beachy look. Here we go:

  1. Spray hair from roots to ends with a light hair spray like Pantene Aispray Flexible Hold Hairspray ($7). Be generous if you want your soft curls to stay put, Marissa says.
  2. Wrap a small section of hair around a 1-inch curling iron, placing hair over the hot tool first and leaving the ends out so they stay straight. Release the curl after a few seconds, and avoid touching it until it cools down. This is key!
  3. Grab another small section of hair directly next to the one you just curled, but this time start by placing hair under the hot tool, so the ringlet is in the opposite direction. Continue the process until all your hair has been curled.
  4. Once your hair has cooled down and the curls have set, spritz a little more of the hair spray on them, and run through them from roots to ends with a wide-tooth comb to loosen the curls into waves. Combing the curls gets that voluminous and Old Hollywood look that Selena's Revival hair is known for, Marissa says.
