If you're unfamiliar with the term haka, the start of this wedding video may be a bit surprising. But upon learning its significance, you'll understand just how powerful the bride's reaction is to what her husband did for her at their wedding.

The haka is a traditional dance from the Maori people of New Zealand that was originally performed by warriors before a battle in order to intimidate their opponents. In modern-day culture, young people are taught this as it contains a message for adolescents, often males, who are making the difficult transition into adulthood. And if there's one thing that represents the transition into adulthood, it's marriage.
