Brides are not happy with Kay Jewelers and are taking to social media to vent their frustrations over their engagement rings. According to an in-depth report by BuzzFeed, between Feb. 15 and April 21, over a dozen complaints were made on Facebook, with claims suggesting that Kay not only lost engagement rings that were sent in for repair but also the quality of the repairs left the rings more damaged than in their original condition.

One of the lead complaints, Nicole Largent, said that when her local Kay store sent in her ring for repairs — a stone was loose — she later received news that the ring had "disappeared." She added that Kay employees would ignore her calls and requests for updates on the ring and Nicole even had to file a report with the police department about the missing jewelry.

Another bride, Mackenzie Balderson, added that after sending in her wedding ring for repairs, the one that came back had crooked diamonds and black spots, and some stones were even missing from the ring.

Upon hearing all the backlash over the jewelry, Kay Jewelers released a statement on Facebook, saying that it is "reviewing the issues that were brought to our attention" and that it takes the accusations very seriously. Over 300 comments then followed, with more and more customers sharing their horrible experiences with the jewelry company. Read on to see some of the most heated reponses from both brides and grooms.
