It's unimaginably difficult to deal with being in a family that's unaccepting of your sexuality. Jennifer, a resident of Taiwan, has been dealing with this issue for over a decade. She has been in a relationship with her partner, Sam, another woman, for 11 years, and her parents are strongly against it. So when the couple decided to marry each other, another man stepped up to the plate and walked Jennifer down the aisle.

Jennifer's co-workers at HSBC Bank have been in full support of her relationship. So when she announced the wonderful news of her wedding, the bank's Taiwan CEO, John Li, offered to walk her down the aisle. Sadly, same-sex marriage in Taiwan is not legal, so the wedding was symbolic of their lifelong bond. Despite Jennifer's struggle to be accepted by her family, it's encouraging to know that her workplace fully supports her. See the couple's touching story in the video above.
