This Couple Will Make You Want to Ditch Your Plans For a Small Destination Wedding

According to wedding photographer Jasmine Rose, couple Santana and Aaron had a total blast the week of their New Orleans nuptials.

"They spent most of their trip in [the city] going to concerts and living the New Orleans nightlife," she said. "What a cool way to enjoy your wedding week, right?"

However, on the day of the ceremony — which was supposed to be outdoors — a huge rainstorm hit the city, forcing the lovebirds to switch gears last minute.

"[They had to change] the venues of pretty much everything," the photographer said. "Even with all the rain, I never saw Santana stressed while I was there — she was calm and collected and just going with the flow, and it makes me love her even more!"

They ended up splitting their wedding over the course of two days.

"Friday we were able to shoot the wedding, get family photos and a few outdoor portraits during a break in the rain," the photographer said. "On Sunday the weather was perfect, and we scheduled a sunset portrait and detail session near Jackson Square, right in New Orleans. The fact that Santana and Aaron were just willing to go with the flow in order to get their portraits made all the difference in the world."

Jasmine Rose describes the entire experience as "perfect and surreal." See the gorgeous photos ahead!
