This SNL Skit About Divorce Is Hilariously Sad but Kind of True

The unfortunate reality about marriage in the US is that 40 to 50 percent end in divorce. Second marriages are nothing unusual these days, and Saturday Night Live played up this sad truth in a skit called, "Meet Your Second Wife," a quasi-Dating Game show "where happily married men get a chance to meet the person who will one day become their second wife." Contestants unknowingly get thrown into this hilariously awkward show where they meet their young future wives from ages unborn to eighth grade. And while the thought is pretty disturbing, it's not that far-fetched for Brian to become a bestselling writer in a few years and then leave his wife for middle schooler Hannah who likes horses.
