This Reason This Teen Took His Mom to Prom Will Move You to Tears

The love between a mother and her child is incredibly powerful, and one teen proved that this week. Kerry Huffaker, from Twin Falls, ID, was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer in February, reports ABC News. When her son Dylan Huffaker thought about who to take to prom this year, his first thought was his mother.

While Kerry was in radiation treatment, Dylan came by and surprised her with a box of doughnuts that read, "Will you go to prom with me?" Kerry was totally astounded and her initial reaction was that her son wouldn't want to go to prom with his mom. Dylan, however, wanted to enjoy the night with his beautiful mother after she was worried that she would miss her son's wedding day.

On April 30 the pair went to prom together and DJ cleared the whole floor so that they could dance to "The Dance" by Garth Brooks together. It was a perfect night and a wonderful memory the two will share forever. Read more at ABC News.
