This Emotional Moment Between an Elderly Man and His Sick Wife Will Give You Chills

Laura and Howard, married for 73 years, are the true definition of love. When Howard went away to fight in World War II, Laura would sing "You'll Never Know" by Rosemary Clooney and Harry James to send him off. The couple has always been known to serenade one another during family gatherings. They even sang this very song to each other during their 50-year vow renewal. Laura is now too weak to sing, so Howard sings to her instead.

"At 93 years old, Laura is at a hospice facility making peace with her final days," Erin Solari, the couple's grandchild, said in a Facebook post. "I was lucky enough to capture this precious, heart-melting moment between the two of them."

Before singing, Howard assures Laura that she'll always be his sweetheart. "Moments before this video began, when Grandma heard that Grandpa was in the room, she asked if she could hold him," Erin explained. "Grandpa cannot stand on his own, but he immediately pulled his wheelchair close to her bed ready to make it happen."
