The Sex Scene in Legend of Tarzan Was Just as Rough IRL as on Screen

Leave it to Margot Robbie to embrace both the independent and intimate qualities of Legend of Tarzan's Jane. Director David Yates, who also directed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, knew she was perfect for the role. "If you enter the jungle with anybody, you want to go with Margot Robbie," David told Entertainment Weekly. "She's practical, and she's smart, and she's resourceful. And she can take care of herself."
Margot definitely showed her tough side while filming a sex scene with the leading man, Alexander Skarsgard. She punched Alexander at David's direction and even left a lasting mark.
"They're doing this love scene together, and I said [to Robbie], 'Just slap Alex while you're making love, just kind of give him a punch,'" David explained to EW. "It was sort of an earthy, sensual moment of her enjoying sex with Alex, and the only bruise he picked up during the entire shoot was probably that punch from Margot. Which says a lot about her feistiness."
