This Slytherin-Themed Wedding Is So Elegant, Even the Malfoys Would Approve

In early 2020, photographer Jessica Thomas wanted to create a geeky wedding shoot but with an elegant twist. So with the help of Glamour & Grind Events, she decided to do a Harry Potter-themed wedding shoot that still captured the essence of a beautiful traditional wedding. The shoot's theme focused on the Slytherin Hogwarts house from the popular franchise, so the color scheme was hunter green with muted gray and a dash of silver.

The shoot took place in Lakeland, FL, and with a lot of effort and collaboration from many vendors, it was an absolute success. "No longer shall geek weddings be associated with kitschy themes," Jessica said. "All of these details together created a beautifully elegant and romantic shoot that had the perfect subtle hint of 'geek wedding'." The team truly dreamed up a wedding worthy of the Malfoys!

The bride wore a lovely dress with lace detailing, intricate embroidery, and a long train. She carried a bouquet of white flowers enclosed in greenery and silver dollar eucalyptus, giving it a luscious feel. The groom wore a gray suit and a green tie and black shoes.
