When Judy Brown visited the emergency room with her husband, Jason, for severe abdominal pain, she had no idea that her diagnosis would lead to such a drastic life change — at 47 years old, Judy was experiencing labor pains, and she was going to deliver her baby girl any minute.

A healthy 8-pound little lady — who they named Carolyn Rose — was born an hour after the physicians determined that the cause of Judy's abdominal pain was labor. But how did this happen? Well, Judy attributed her growing belly to "becoming just like her mother" and age, and the weird happenings over the course of her pregnancy to menopause (as the symptoms are similar) — she never thought that she could have been pregnant after 22 years of marriage with Jason and no babies. Jason was in shock, "I feel I'm still going to wake up in the emergency room and feel, 'Hey, this was only a dream . . . it felt so real.'"

While Carolyn is certainly a little miracle, the couple says she's going to be their first and last child. "I will get the surgery before [a second child] even becomes a thought," Jason joked. "She's going to be an only child."
