1 Creative Kid Is Helping Pokémon Go Players Stay Alert With This Cool Safety Gear

Pokémon Go has officially taken over the minds and phones of gamers young and old. And while the virtually interactive game is extremely entertaining, catching Pokémon has yielded a few safety concerns such as distracted walking, driving, and other unwanted incidents.

But to prevent those mishaps, one 7-year-old Pokémon fan decided to create safety gear to accompany gamers at night as they catch critters at nearby Pokéstops. He invented the Poké Glo, an illuminated button in the shape and design of a Pokéball.

In a series of photos posted by Imgur user auburnkay, the inventive kiddo advertised his creation at a stand with the slogan "Don't GO without your Poké Glo." His original prototype, a light-up Pokéball wristband, was made for players to illuminate walkways but it was too costly to produce.
However, you can contribute to a GoFundMe campaign to help further bring his his Poké Glo invention to life. We are definitely commending this kiddo for not only being extremely creative but for considering the safety of others while playing the popular new game. Now go forth and capture those Pokémon!
