A Ballet-Themed Party That's Totally on Pointe

If you ask Roxie Magro of This Party Rox to describe her daughter Emma, girlie is the first word to pop out of her mouth. So when it came time to celebrate Emma's fifth birthday, the San Diego-based party planner knew exactly what to do.

"At the time that I started planning her fifth birthday party, she had just performed at her first ballet recital," Roxie explains. "I found the theme to be quite fitting." But Roxie refused to settle for something simple. She pulled out all the stops for her tiny dancer, which included hiring an instructor to come and teach a ballet class. From the decor to the desserts to the dancing, everything about the celebration was on pointe (pun intended, of course). Click through to see more sweet moments from this sweet ballerina bash.

Aside from putting a smile on her daughter's face, the treat table may have been Roxie's proudest accomplishment of the party.

"I had a vision of how I wanted it to look," she says. "And when it all came together I was so happy."

Emma couldn't have asked for a better birthday party. But what was her favorite part of the celebration? Mom says it was the trampoline . . . and we don't blame her.
