This Ailing Boy's Response to Getting a New Heart Will Bring Tears to Your Eyes

Thirteen-year-old Albert Jeffries IV (nicknamed AlJ) was born with a debilitating disorder called dilated cardiomyopathy, which led to his hospitalization in late 2014 — and since then, he and his family have prayed every day to receive news of a donor heart that would save his life. So when AlJ's family was finally alerted that the teen would receive a transplant, their reactions were understandably emotional — while his mother cried tears of joy, AlJ seemed overwhelmed by the good news.
