2 Tiny Falcons Fans Are Hoping For a Super Bowl Victory and a Win Against Illness

Ella may be the Atlanta Falcons' tiniest fan, but she's a strong fighter and she's not letting her battle against cancer at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta stop her from cheering on her team as they play for the cup at Super Bowl 51. Ella has been receiving chemotherapy treatments for Langerhans cell histiocytosis over the last eight months, but she's all smiles in a photo posted to the hospital's Facebook page, sporting an adorable lace-lined Atlanta Falcons hospital gown and headband.

Ella isn't CHOA's only mini Falcons fan, though; the hospital posted another photo to Facebook recently of 17-month-old Wyatt, a bespectacled little boy in a teeny Julio Jones jersey and a custom neck brace with the Falcons logo printed on it. Wyatt is fighting against spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia (SED), a rare bone growth disorder. With his finger held up in the "number one" position, it looks like he's calling it now: the Falcons are going all the way!

Although we're not big football fans over here, we hope for Wyatt and Ella's sake that their Falcons crush it on Sunday!
