"Dear Future Mom" Video Addresses Down Syndrome

Try Not to Cry While Watching This Touching Letter to a Future Mom

A certain amount of panic sets in when a woman finds out she's pregnant, but that fear multiplies when she learns her child may not be like everyone else. That's what happened when one mom-to-be discovered her future child would have Down syndrome. She wrote to CoorDown, a Down syndrome advocacy group, asking what kind of life her child would have. The European-based group responded with a truly touching video, where 15 people with Down syndrome told her all the things her child would do — from going to school to saying "I love you." Yes, sometimes it will be difficult, but, as the people in the video say, isn't it like that for all mothers? Take a look at the video — but have your tissues handy!

Truly heartwarming. They are God's SPECIAL earth angels! They are so sweet and so innocent and teach those they love and encounter so much!

This truly made me cry of Happiness for my teenage age son! I had the same fears when I was pregnant with my baby. Turns out he's the first one to teach his brother and sister that they can do it!
